While traditionally, an “Angel’s Share” is the term for the percentage of a whisky’s volume that is lost to evaporation, it is also the name of an amazing Cognac cocktail. With Orange Marmalade, Cognac VSOP, Licor43, Lemon Juice & Sugar Syrup, this cocktail has a wonderful citrus flavour with a hint of Vanilla.

Ingredients

2 oz. 60ml Cognac
1 spoon 1 spoon Orange Marmalade
0.25 oz. 8ml Licor 43
0.5 oz. 15ml Lemon Juice
0.25 oz. 8ml Sugar Syrup

Instructions

Stir a heaped spoon of Orange Marmalade with Cognac in the base of a shaker until the Marmalade is dissolved. Add other ingredients, shake with ice and then fine strain into a chilled glass.
