Liqueur brand Tia Maria has entered the ready-to-drink (RTD) category with the launch of their Iced Coffee Frappé. Said to be “indulgent yet refreshing” the Frappé is made with 100% Arabica coffee, milk cream and coffee liqueur Tia Maria. The 4% ABV RTD uses Nitro technology means the 200ml can foams when opened

The can design for the new RTD has been created by Netherlands-based street artist Karsi and features an abstract design.

Purity Vodka Release Purity Spritz Range

Swedish-owned Purity Distillery have released a low-calory Spritz with no artificial flavours or sweeteners called Purity Mediterranean Citrus Spritz.

Based on Purity´s award-winning Signature 34 Edition Organic Vodka the Spritz expression is enhanced with natural Mediterranean Citrus flavors of Bergamot, Grapefruit and Orange.

Mathias Tönnesson, master blender for the award-winning distillery says, “We want to make it easy for everyone to make a great cocktail at home — with natural ingredients and free of artificial flavors.

Bollinger Launches First New Champagne In 12 Years

Champagne brand Bollinger has unveiled a pure Pinot Noir Champagne, the first permanent line it has added to the range in 12 years.

Made exclusively from Pinot Noir, the focus of the first edition in the new collection is VZ15, which is a Pinot Noir from the village Verzenay in the 2015 vintage.

However, the new cuvée is a non-vintage blend with reserve wine going back to the 2009 harvest, along with wines from other Pinot Noir crus in Champagne.

A predominant grape across the Bollinger range, Pinot Noir is the pillar of the producer’s style, although the producer only has one former pure Pinot Champagne, which is the extremely rare Vieilles Vignes Françaises blanc de noirs.

This launch edition of Bollinger PN will be followed by new versions that will incorporate different Pinot Noir expressions.

Two New Whiskies From Macallan’s Double Cask Range

Single malt Scotch brand The Macallan has unveiled two new whiskies: Double Cask 15 Years Old and Double Cask 18 Years Old.

Both bottled at 43% ABV, the series uses American and European oak Sherry-seasoned casks to mature the whiskies.

Kirsteen Campbell, master whisky maker at The Macallan, said: “Bringing together American and European oak Sherry-seasoned casks to achieve the perfect balance of flavours is incredibly exciting for the whisky mastery team.

“With Double Cask 15 Years Old, the delicate and indulgent flavours of American oak including honey, citrus and chocolate balance The Macallan’s more traditional characteristics of rich fruits, Sherry and wood spice.

Mr Black Adds ‘Cold Fashioned’ RTD To Range

Made with a blend of rye whiskey, Mr Black and bitters, it’s chocolatey, spicy, silky-smooth and coffee-forward. The perfectly balanced Cold Fashioned is your much needed antidote to the cooler months.

The brand suggests that the bottle is kept in the refrigerator and simply poured over a big ice cube, garnish with a citrus twist when ready to serve.

Westward Whiskey Releases MESO Benefit Barrel

Oregon-based American Single Malt distillery, Westward Whiskey have released a limited-edition single-barrel release, with 100% of proceeds going to support minority and black-owned business.

MISO, which stands for the Micro Enterprise Services of Oregon, is a Portland-based non-profit that is dedicated to improving the economic opportunities for underserved individuals through empowerment, education and entrepreneurship.

The release is part of Westward’s commitment to provide opportunities for our community to join the fight against racism, and in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement.

The barrel, chosen by head distiller Miles Monroe, is the distillery’s thousandth barrel of whiskey. It has been aged for three and a half years and has been bottled at 100% proof. All bottles have been hand signed by Miles and the brand’s founder Christian Krogstad.
